This is an awesome cross stitch pattern site in its own right, but they also offer some adorable free small cross stitch patterns. I really like the way these free patterns are presented as they will mimic how larger cross stitch patterns will be presented to you with a stitch count, dmc to anchor conversions, and more!

These patterns are good enough that they could make wonderful hand-made gifts to give to a loved one during the holidays!

Spruce Crafts

Spruce Crafts is a great crafting website, but its list of free cross stitch patterns is really incredible. There are over 200 free patterns that are all focused towards beginners.

If you’re looking to start small or just want to learn on something easy, there are a number of beginner patterns on this one page that can get you going.
