10 Online Sites To Find Free Unique Knitting Patterns

Spread the love

Looking for some new sites where you can find free knitting patterns? I’ve compiled a list of 20 different sites below containing hundreds, if not thousands, of free knitting patterns. Sweaters, scarfs, hats, baby blankets…this list has everything you’re looking for!

Why Are These Knitting Patterns Free?

Knitting stores know that if they can get you to love a pattern, they likely can get you to buy the supplies you’ll need to finsh the project. That’s why many of the projects listed below will also include a list of needed supplies that you can conveniently buy from the same site.

It’s a great trade-off. You’ll find your next beautiful project and the store will be able to sell some of their stock. Strongly consider using the products listed on these patterns. Varying from them will alter the look of the finished project.

If this list isn’t enough for you, then check out my curated list of dozens of online stores offering free knitting patterns.

At first glance, Brome Fields might seem like just every other knitting site online. They indeed have dozens of free patterns to knit sweaters, socks, hats, and tops.

However, dig a little deeper into their catalog and you’ll find some knitting projects that you’ve never seen before!

Some of these more interesting categories include:

I love this cozy knitting site despite the fact that it’s definitely smaller than many of the other sites on this list. There’s some fantastic gift-oriented free knitting patterns that are worth taking a look at. Not all of them are from this specific knitter, but they are all free and cool.

Some of these projects include:
