Cross Stitch Progress On Reaper and Dachsund

Today was one of those days where coming home and cross stitching seemed like the greatest thing ever.

Sometimes, when I dive into a cross stitch with a desire to just escape the world and be comforted by the back and forth of the stitching needle, I reach for a small project. Something that I can easily hold in my hands and see the design more clear than the much larger projects I usually work on.

Tonight, I worked for a while on the Reaper first. It was an interesting choice, considering my mood, but I wanted to make a bit of progress.

Then I decided I wanted to do a little bit of work on something more colorful so I reached for the Dachsund. I’m slowly but surely getting this page done, and perhaps another 30 stitches were put in the project over the course of an hour.

I probably won’t stitch tomorrow night, and I’ll do the weekly update on Wednesday, so I’m pretty much done with stitching for the “week.”
