The Week Of The HoneyBee Portrait Cross Stitch

Spread the love

I enjoyed making progress on this cross stitch project this week. I think I went from about 200 stitches to triple that number. It looks like it’s all one color, but it’s a combination of four.

Here’s what it looked like a week ago:

And now here’s what it looks like now:

Starting on Wednesday it’s time for Ronnie Rowe Design’s US Capitol!

  1. I always try to go to Aida when I can. I tend to have a harder time seeing linen when I’m using it. I expect the piece to end up even larger than what they quoted for the linen piece. 🙂 Good luck with the new projects!!

  2. I’ve been inspired to purchase two haed designs from watching your you tube videos, and honeybee portrait is one of them. I noticed they both say to stitch on 25 count linen, and you appear to be using aida…that’s all I have experience with anyway. Do you think this will change the patterns a lot? Have you made this change with haed designs often?

  3. Jules, I’ve already started designing 3 new black and white “Pen &Ink” Designs. Really don’t know how long they will take but shooting for the 2020 Nashville Show. These 3 hopefully will turn out ok.
